Before starting Miftaah, our founding tutors spent years teaching at a well-known, well-run Quran academy — one that taught us a great deal about discipline, structure, and what real Tajweed instruction looks like. We’re grateful for that foundation; it shaped how we teach today.

But teaching hundreds of students across a large institute naturally means classes move fast, tutors rotate, and every student gets an equal, standardized share of attention. That works well for many — but we kept noticing a smaller group of students who needed something different: a bit more time, a steadier relationship with one tutor, and someone who’d notice right away if they missed a class or started falling behind.

Every student who joins us, whether a five-year-old starting Qaida or an adult beginning Hifz, gets that same close, consistent relationship.
